Notes: Arcangues is an American thoroughbr ed racehorse that came directly from France. He is sired by Sagace and is out of Albertine. Though he raced only on the green surface in Europe before sending to California , he made an astounding mark by winning on the dart surface of the Santa Anita Park Racetrack. In 1993 Breeders’ Cup Classic, his racing was something extraordin ary and won the race when the bettors sent him off at odds of 133-1 in the richest of the Breeders’ Cup races. After several wins Arcangues stayed in the United States and raced all through the 1994 season and got retirement thereafter . After that racing season, he was sent to Japan for standing at stud duty.
