The Grade 1 Florida Derby is a major North American horse racing event that takes place in Hallandale, Florida at Gulfstream Park Racetrack. This race has been branded as one of the official Road to the Kentucky Derby events and the winning horse is generally considered as one of the top favorites to win the Kentucky Derby.
