Notes: Is It True was an American thoroughbr ed racehorse, which was bred by Warner L. Jones at his Hermitage Farm located near Goshen, Kentucky. Eugene Klein purchased the horse and handed him to D. Wayne Lukas for training. When Is It True was two year olds, he made six starts and finished the tally with 2-2-1. Though he has many wins under his name, the one, which he posted in 1988 at the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile, is really a notable one. He defeated the then champion horse – Easy Goer comprehens ively and clinched the winning title. When Is It True was three, he could not made a mark in the US Triple Crown. Though he had nine starts, could earn three wins and one-third- place finish the most important being in the Grade II Jim Dandy Stakes at Saratoga Race Course. Is It True retired and stayed five years thereafter in Australia and for the next five season to Walmac Internatio nal in Kentucky. Only on February 22, 2007, the twenty-one -year-old suffered a heart attack and died.
