Robert Leparoux was a jockey and went on to become an assistant trainer. Notes: Julien Leparoux began horseracing at Saratoga and raced in Belmont, Keeneland, Churchill Downs and Turfway. He clinched his first win on August 18, 2005 with Eastern Guardian. Under the training of Helen Pitts, Cat Quatorze brought Leparoux first stakes victory on February 11, 2006 at the historic Turfway Park. Gorella ran brilliantly at Arlington Park and registered his first grade 1 win in the Beverly D Stakes in August 2006. He clinched three meet titles at Turfway Park, set a record during the fall meet, tied with Rafael Bejarano at the spring meet to earn seventeen victories and completed the Saratoga meet with twenty-eight wins in 2006. Leparoux became the fifth jockey in history of the Churchill Downs to ride six winners on a single card.Sunshine Millions Classic was won by him in the year 2009. His other racing wins in the year 2009 include Holy Bull Stakes, Fair Grounds Handicap, Santa Anita Handicap, Bonnie Miss Stakes and Northern Dancer Stakes.
