The Lady’s Secret Stakes, which was earlier known as Lady’s Secret Stakes Breeders’ Cup Handicap is an American thoroughbred horse-racing event that is run at a distance of one and one-sixteenth miles on the dirt track of Santa Anita Park Racetrack, California. This grade I horse-racing event is open to fillies and mares with age three and up. This horse-racing event is now a part of the Breeders’ Cup Challenge series and the winner of the 2008 Lady’s Secret Stakes will automatically be qualified for the Breeders’ Cup Ladies’ Classic. The name of the stakes has been taken from the great Hall of Famer, Lady’s Secret, the daughter of the immortal Secretariat.
