Remington Park History

Remington Park Racetrack is situated in Oklahoma City. It is nearly three hundred and seventy acres of land that encompasses the track, museums and other attractions. This racetrack features a one-mile-dirt track and a 7/8-mile turf course. Quarter horseracing is run in the month of spring while the thoroughbred is held in the fall. Some important races that take place on this ground include Edmund Handicap, Esward J. DeBartolo Sr. Memorial Breeders’ Cup and the Remington Futurity.

How to get there:

If you want to come from Downtown Raleigh, take Capital Blvd north (US 1) to the NC Hwy 401 split. Exit right and travel two miles. Continue on Rt 401, pass the Food Lion and McDonald\\\\\\\'s on the left at Spring Forest Rd. The Remington Park entrance is ahead on the left. If you want to come from Hwy 540, you need to take \\\\\\\"Triangle Town Center\\\\\\\" exit, turn right. Turn left at first light, Old Wake Forest Rd. Continue on Old Wake Forest Rd. (changes to Fox Rd.) to the stoplight at Hwy 401 - Louisburg Rd. Turn right and you will find Remington Park that is 2 miles ahead on the right.
