The dynamic duo teamed up to win four of the last six races on Sunday’s 10-race program. Their run began in the fifth when Life Imitates Art ($3.20) , a 2-year-old More Than Ready colt, was elevated to first by the stewards in a maiden turf race after Barahona was disqualified from first for pushing Ballagh Rocks into Life Intimates Art, who got up by a nose for second over Ballagh Rocks.

In the seventh, Lewis Bay ($4.70), a 2-year-old daughter of Bernardini, romped to a six-length win in a seven-furlong maiden dirt race.

In the eighth, Tammy the Torpedo ($4.90) rallied to a 2 1/2-length victory in a first-level allowance race.

Lastly, in the 10th, Catapult ($9.40), a first-time starter by Kitten’s Joy, won a maiden turf race for 2-year-olds. Brown has won 16 races at Belmont in the month of October to open up a 25-12 lead over Todd Pletcher in the trainer standings. Ortiz, who had three wins on Saturday’s card, has opened up a 10-win lead, 42-32, on his brother Jose. There are 10 racing programs left at Belmont, a meet that ends on Nov. 1.
