Andre Fabre spent a colorful childhood first in Germany and then in France. He started riding at college level and decided to opt racing as his career. Fabre joined Adeleâs group as a groom in 1970. Very soon he caught the attention of public by posting 250 races win including the most prestigiou s Grand Steeplecha se de Paris in 1977. As soon as his mentor passed away, Fabre took up the entire responsibi lity of the barn at Chantilly. Since 1987, he clinched twentieth consecutiv e title in 2006.

Andre Fabre clinched the Prix du President de la Republique with Fondeur in 1978 and continued to win the race consecutively for the next three years with Isopani, Metatero and Jasmin II; posted victory in the Poule d'Essai des Poulains with Soviet Star, Vahorimix and Clodovil in 1987, 2001 and 2003 respectively. Some of his winners include Musical Chimes, Peintre Celebre, Lypharita, and Jolypha, Nebraska Tornado, Apple Tree, Apple Tree, Swain and more. Andre set a record by winning Franceâs most prestigious race for seven times latest by Rail Link in 2006. Fabre won the Epsom Derbyin 2006; got victory in the Coronation Cup; posted wins in the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes with Hurricane Run. Andre Fabre earned three victories in the Breedersâ Cup including victory in the 1993 Breedersâ Cup Classic at Santa Anita.
