David Hofmans is a popular thoroughbr ed racehorse trainer of the United States. He was born and brought up in Los Angeles. At his childhood days, he liked to watch horseracin g at his area tracks. In 1974, David posted his first profession al win of his career at Santa Anita Racetrack. In 1996, he gained national prominence as a trainer of Alphabet Soup that defeated the famous Cigar in the Breedersâ €™ Cup Classic. In 1997, Hofmans registered win in Canada’ s most prestigiou s races – the Queens Plate, with Awesome Again and won the Belmont Stakes. After posting win in the Belmont Stakes, his horses – Touch Gold and Silver Charm were bided for the United States’ Triple Crown title. In 2003 Hofmans posted his second Breedersâ €™ Cup racing with his the then favorite horse Adoration in the Breedersâ €™ Cup Distaff. He was nominated for the inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 2006.
