Plesa was honored in many occasions for his innovative technique and ideas of rearing horses. His inclusion into Calder’ s Hall of Fame in 2006 added another feather in his crown. He topped in the trainer†™s standings at Calder’ s Tropical meet for three times – 1994, 2002 and in 2003. Edward’ s first Breeder†™s Cup starter Three Ring finished third in the Juvenile Fillies category in 1998. In 2006, he became the third trainer to sweep the Florida Stallion Stakes series with his trained horses. In the next year, he saddled three different horses – Stolen Prayer, Electrify and Breedersâ €™ Cup dirt mile contender Gottcha Gold. Edward ranked in the top forty trainers by earnings through December 31, 2007.
