Worked as an assistant trainer serving under Bob Baffert for a couple of years. During that time Silver Charm and Real Quiet posted win in consecutiv e races in the Kentucky Derby. They were trained under the expert hands of Bob Baffert. Harty became the private trainer for Godolphin\ \\'s American fleet in 2000. His training placed Street Cry (Ire) third in the 2000 Breeders\\ \' Cup Juvenile. Spectators applauded Tempera and Imperial Gesture in the 2001 Breeders\\ \' Cup Juvenile Fillies. Currently, Harty is the primary trainer of Sheikh Mohammed\\ \'s Darley Stable. He also operates a public stable. WinStar Farms is the major client of the stable. He trained WinStar\\\ 's homebred Well Armed to a 14 length win in the $6 million Dubai World Cup. Harty trains Travers and Colonel John. Mr. Hot Stuff will be Harty\\\'s second Derby starter. |
