His wife is Lisa. He is the only son of his family to pursue a career in racing.


Notes:
James Graham is the only son of seven kids, who has tried his luck for a career in racing. It is heard that at his childhood days he was not well in studies and it was actually a teacher, who suggested him to make a career in horseracing. He is among the fifteen jockeys to finish the Irish Jockey School Program where as there were as many as thirty participants at beginning of the course. James came down to the United States in 2002 following his wife’s suggestion. The plan worked for him – he moved up for being an exercise rider to jockey. At present, he rides at the Fair Grounds, Arlington Park and Keeneland horseracing circuit. On May 24th 2007, James posted six winning titles on the card setting the biggest day of his career.
