Notes:
Jeremy Rose is a popular racehorse jockey, who has been in the thoroughbred racing circuit of America for the last couple of seasons. Jeremy Rose was a wrestler when he was in high school. He started his career in horse racing with a view to become one of the most prominent jockeys of the United States’ horse racing circuit; his first horse racing meet was at Delaware Park in Wilmington, Delaware. He was voted the United States’ Eclipse Award for Outstanding Apprentice Jockey. He became the leading rider at Delaware Park in 2001 and secured the second spot in 2002. In 2005 Rose rode on Afleet Alex and earned victory in two American classic races - the Preakness and the Belmont Stakes. He worked hard and raced brilliantly to post his 1000th career victory at Delaware Park on July 3, 2005. At the beginning of 2008, the Delaware Thoroughbred Racing Commission suspended Rose for nearly six months; he was charged against whipping Appeal To The City in the head during a June 23rd race at Delaware Park. But, the trainer and owner of the horse claimed that it was a sheer case of accident — the case is under the suspension of appeal. At present, Jeremy rides in Elkton, Maryland.
