For the next twelve years, Jon Court rode in Louisiana and thereafter moved to Kentucky and Indiana. In 1995, he was at Hoosier Park and became the top rider from 1996 to 1998. Jon won his 2000th racing victory at Kentucky Downs. His career suddenly turned to a new dimension when he moved to California tracks in 2004. He started winning titles one after another at Ellis Park, Oaklawn Park, Turfway Park, Kentucky Downs and Birmingham Racecourse. He posted his 3000th racing wins at the Santa Anita Park racetrack in 2005. In the next year, Jon Court was elected secretary of the Jockeys� Guild and became representative member of the board for the National Thoroughbred Racing Association. |
