He was born in 1985 in Panama and started riding there for two consecutive years well before starting his Stateside riding career in 2004 at Gulfstream Park. Coming back to Tampa Bay Downs in 2006, he finished fourth in the jockey standings. Some of his remarkable feats counts - Deputy Glitters, whom he rode to victory in Tampa Bay Derby and Kentucky Derby. He has remarkable record at Monmouth Park too. Currently he is associated with the Meadowlands and as of the end of 2007, he was the leading rider surprisingly in both wins and purses. |
