She is a Canadian Thoroughbr ed horse trainer and the first woman trainer to win the Queeen̢۪ s Plate which is one of the oldest thoroughbr ed horse race in North America. She started her racing career in 1975 and worked under Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame Trainer Mac Benson. She is one of the leading trainers at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto with eight graded stakes wins under her belt.
