He is an American Olympic equestrian rider and thoroughbr ed horse trainer. He is best known in the racing world for training Barbaro to win in the 132nd Kentucky Derby in 2006. He began training thoroughbr eds in 1998. In 2005 he won the Arlington Million with Kicken Kris. He also won the 2006 Breedersâ Cup Distaff with Round Pond.
