In January 1936, he was shipped to England to race before 200,000 spectators . Omaha lost the race by a head to the filly テ「 Quashed. He was retired from racing at stud at Claiborne Farm. When he died in 1959 at the age of twenty-sev en, he was buried in the circle of champions at the Ak-Sar-Ben racetrack.
