His brother Louis Albertrani trains horses at Delaware Park. Notes: Thomas started his career as a jockey and then became an assistant to trainer Bill Mott. In 1995 Albertrani was hired as an assistant for head trainer Saeed bin Suroor at Godolphin Racing stable in Dubai. Later he worked in Australia, Japan and various other tracks in Europe. In 2005 he returned to New York and opened a stable to train horses from various owners. In 2006 he won five consecutiv e stake races. |
