Tim was born and brought up on 21st May 1951 in his hometown Pittsburgh , Pennsylvan ia. At eighteen, he attended the Potamac Horse Center and gained his riding education and spent more than eleven years in training horses with the United States Olympic Equestrian Team for the Munich games. He is the five time leading trainer at Delawara Park in 1992, 1993, 1994, 1996 and 2001.
